Her glowing personality, her enthusiam to please and prepare extraordinary dishes, her outstanding reputation in the community make her the perfect hostess. You will find that Chantal’s dishes emphasize the tastes and specialties of the region. At your request, special dishes with deer or part ridge can be prepared.

As the saying goes: behind a ... great woman, you will find... a great man to support her. As your host, Lucien will greet you with open arms. He will take pleasure in providing you with everything that you will need to make your stay enjoyable and memorable.You will find him waiting on tables and even guiding guests on their nature walks on the property.

Chantal prepares a five course meal for different occasions.  Whether it is to dine for pleasure or to  have a business meeting, organise a family reunion or simply a gathering of friends, you will be pleased with the culinary experience. The dinning room of the bed breakfast can accomodate a group of up to 20 people.

Also, Chantal will cater to groups of 50 people or more. She will gladly bring her kitchen to you.

Not all the food in the region is snack style: Lucien Bourgeois and Chantal Caron run Au Boisé, a lovely B & B being less than half an hour from Ottawa. The food is what makes the place special. Caron is a chef who ran the Francophonie Games in Ottawa, and if you want to do more than have breakfast, she will cook a wonderful meal. This needs to be arranged in advance, since you eat in her dining room, and she will only do dinners for small groups.

Thank you for sharing your home. Your hospitality was warm and wonderful - just like you. Chantal & Lucien thanks so much for everything. It was a wonderful diner and you both have a beautiful place.
